Growing in Jesus, Sharing His Love

Greetings in Christ! The mission of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and School is to guide people to know Jesus as their Savior, to grow in their faith, and to share Jesus' love with others. The place where we meet Jesus is in his Word — therefore God's unchanging Word is our foundation and guide as we grow in Jesus and share his love.

In addition to worship, religious education, and social activities, St. John congregation operates a Christian Day School and Loving Arms Christian Childhood Development Center for the thorough Christian training of children.

St. John Lutheran School

St. John Lutheran School is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) and Lakeshore Lutheran Schools, serving PreK through 8th grade since 1857. Families choose St. John for a caring Christian environment, highly trained teachers, strong student culture, and a proven multi-grade classroom model — along with athletic and musical opportunities, a large gym facility, before and after school care, and a 3- and 4-year-old preschool program offered 2-5 days a week.

Pastor William Harley

Pastor

Pastor William Harley

Pastor Harley was born and raised in Wisconsin. He graduated from Concordia University in Mequon with a triple major in European History, Pastoral Ministry, and Theological Languages, and later completed the WELS Seminary in Thiensville in 2010. He has served congregations in Algoma, Kenosha, and Winner, South Dakota, and now serves God's people at St. John in Maribel as of 2020. He is married to Jennifer, and they have three children. He is also one of the hosts of the Casting Nets Podcast.
